Building a website for your app is a very important part of marketing it. Even if you’re an indie developer developing for fun you should have one. But building it from scratch takes time. Too much time. That’s where this WordPress theme comes in.
WordPress is a well-known CMS system built mainly for blogging. But with clever use of different themes it can perfectly serve as a website. You can create a website for your app in a few moments!
How to set it up
First you will need to have some web hosting to host your site. I will not go into details of this, if you’re looking to build a website you probably know how this works. Then you need to download and install WordPress. To find out how to do this just follow instructions provided by WordPress, they put up good effort to make it really simple. Then you need to download the theme, either from the project’s website or clone it from GitHub (that is the more updated version, I recommend cloning it from there). Once downloaded, put it into /wp-content/themes directory in your installation of WordPress. Finally enable it in the settings pane, upload some pictures, set up the name, price etc and you’re done. Enjoy!
